2. TUM Deutschlandstipendium

Awarded by: Technical University of Munich

Eligibility Criteria: You must have passed your 12th standard and hold an undergraduate degree.

Amount: €300 monthly

Application Deadline: The application period takes place from 17.06.2024 to 30.06.2024.

An additional application period, only for high school graduates of the class of 2024 takes place from 15.07.2024 to 28.07.2024.

3. Need-Based Waiver Scholarships

Awarded by: TUM

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • You need excellent grades from the university where you earned your qualification for Bachelor’s  programmes.
  • You can demonstrate financial need.
  • Your parents’ income is low.

Amount: Full tuition waiver for two semesters.

Application Deadline: For the winter semester 2024/25, both Bachelor’s and Master’s students can apply from 1st November 2024 to 15th January 2025.

4. Merit-Based Waiver Scholarship for Masters Programmes

Awarded by: TUM

Eligibility Criteria: You need excellent grades from the university where you earned your qualification for Masters programmes.

Amount: Full tuition waiver for two semesters.

Application Deadline: Applications are open from 1st January to 31st May 2025 for the winter semester of 2025/26.

5. Merit-Based Waiver Scholarship for Continuing Students

8. Oskar Karl Forster Scholarship for Books and Learning Materials

Awarded by: TUM

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students who have completed at least two semesters at TUM.
  • Outstanding academic achievements, low income, and no prior financial support from the Oskar Karl Forster Scholarship Fund.

Amount: Grants for books and learning materials from €100 to €500.

Application deadline:

Applications must be submitted to the TUM scholarship office in Munich from April 14.1.2024 for the summer semester, and from October 1-15, 2024 for the winter semester.

Please refrain from inquiries regarding your application status. You will receive the result by the middle of June / middle of November.

Please be aware that all the receipts of the books and learning materials must be handed in at least 31st of July for summer semester, and the 30th of November for winter semester.
