Eligibility criteria: To be eligible for funding,

  • You must be completing a degree program at RWTH Aachen University and hold foreign citizenship. 
  • You should have earned your university entrance qualification outside Germany, excluding German schools abroad. 
  • The funding is intended for students in the final year of their studies, expecting to graduate within 12 months of the funding’s commencement. 
  • You must reside in Germany during this period and demonstrate financial difficulties.

Amount: €500 per month, typically for five months.

First funding round: November 1 to November 30, with funding typically starting in February and running to June.

2. PROMOS Study or Internship Abroad Scholarships

Eligibility criteria: To be eligible,

  • You must be completing a full degree program at RWTH Aachen University and hold foreign citizenship. 
  • You should have earned your university entrance qualification at a non-German school abroad and completed at least two semesters at RWTH with good to very good academic performance. 
  • You must actively participate in international activities at RWTH and demonstrate strong intercultural skills as well as proficiency in German and English.

Amount: €300 per month for six months during the summer semester.

4. Deutschland Stipendium

Awarded by: RWTH Aachen 

Eligibility Criteria:You must be an enrolled or prospective student who demonstrates outstanding academic or scholastic achievements and shows a strong potential for success. The funding is open to students pursuing a first degree, second or supplementary degree, or a Master program. 

Amount: €300 monthly
